About us

本隐私政策适用于蔡司中国及其关联实体（“我们”）对中国境内收集的个人信息的处理。关联实体包括蔡司远东有限公司、卡尔蔡司（上海）管理有限公司，蔡司工业测量技术（上海）有限公司，蔡司科技（苏州）有限公司。
This Privacy Policy applies to the processing of personal information collected within the territory of China by Zeiss China and its affiliated entities (“we” or “us”). The affiliated entities include Carl Zeiss Far East Company Limited, Carl Zeiss (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Carl Zeiss IMT (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Carl Zeiss (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.

根据《中华人民共和国个人信息保护法》，个人信息是指以电子或者其他方式记录的与已识别或者可识别的自然人有关的各种信息，不包括匿名化处理后的信息。敏感个人信息是指一旦泄露或者非法使用，容易导致自然人的人格尊严受到侵害或者人身、财产安全受到危害的个人信息，包括生物识别、宗教信仰、特定身份、医疗健康、金融账户、行踪轨迹等信息，以及不满十四周岁未成年人的个人信息。
According to the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, personal information refers to all kinds of information related to identified or identifiable natural persons recorded by electronic or other means, excluding the information that has been anonymized. Sensitive personal information refers to the personal information that, once disclosed or illegally used, is likely to result in damage to the personal dignity of any natural person or damage to his or her personal or property safety, including such information as biometric identification, religious belief, specific identity, medical health, financial account, and whereabouts and tracks, as well as the personal information of minors under the age of fourteen.

在您接受本隐私政策并提供您的明示同意（包括您主动做出的电子或纸质声明、主动勾选或点击的“同意”、“注册”、“发送”、“拨打”等，以下统称为“同意”）后，我们可能根据本隐私政策所述目的，处理您的个人信息。
After you accept this Privacy Policy and provide your express consent (including your unsolicited electronic or paper statements, unsolicited checkboxes or clicks to “agree”, “register”, “send”, “call”, etc., collectively referred to as “Consent”), we may process your personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

In the course of our business in China, we process personal information of end users, visitors, job applicants, healthcare professionals, website visitors, partner contacts and minors under the age of fourteen. 我们如何委托处理您的个人信息
Entrusted processing of your personal information

我们可能会委托供应商、合作伙伴等第三方处理您的个人信息，以保障为您提供的服务顺利完成。但我们仅会出于合法、正当、必要、特定、明确的目的委托第三方处理您的个人信息，并且只会委托第三方处理服务所必要的个人信息。我们的第三方合作伙伴无权将委托处理的个人信息用于任何其他用途。
We may entrust suppliers, partners and other third parties to process your personal information in order to ensure the smooth completion of the services provided to you. However, we will only entrust third parties with the processing of your personal information for lawful, legitimate, necessary, specific and explicit purposes, and only the personal information necessary for the service will be entrusted to a third party. · In the event of a company merger, acquisition or bankruptcy and liquidation involving the transfer of personal information, we will require the new company or organization which will hold your personal information to continue to be bound by this Privacy Policy and we will inform you of the name and contact information of that company or organization in a reasonable manner. · In the event of a security incident such as a personal information leakage, we will initiate an emergency plan to prevent the security incident from expanding and inform you by push notification, announcement, etc.

· 我们也会要求我们的第三方服务提供商使用合理的安全措施以保护您的个人信息安全。

尽管已经采取了上述合理有效措施，并已经遵守了相关法律规定要求的标准以确保您的个人信息受到了应有的保护，但请您理解，由于技术的限制以及可能存在的各种恶意手段，即便竭尽所能加强安全措施，也不可能始终保证信息百分之百的安全。

若发生个人信息安全事件，我们将按照法律法规的要求，及时向您告知：安全事件的基本情况和可能的影响、我们已采取或将要采取的处置措施、您可自主防范和降低风险的建议、对您的补救措施等。我们将及时将事件相关情况以邮件、信函、电话、短信通知等方式向您告知；在难以直接告知的情形下，我们会采取合理、有效的方式发布公告。同时，我们还将按照监管部门要求，主动上报个人信息安全事件的处置情况。
In the event of a personal information security incident, we will, in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations, promptly inform you of the basic situation and possible impact of the security incident, the measures we have taken or will take to deal with it, the suggestions for you to independently prevent and reduce the risks, and the remedial measures for you. (一） 访问、复制、更正、修改您的个人信息

您有权访问、复制、更正、修改您的个人信息，但法律法规规定的例外情况除外。

(二） 删除您的个人信息

在以下情形中，您可以向我们提出删除相关个人信息的请求：
You may make a request to us to delete the relevant personal information in the following cases:

· 如果我们的处理目的已实现、无法实现或者为实现处理目的不再必要；
· If our processing purposes have been achieved, cannot be achieved, or it’s no longer necessary to achieve the processing purposes;

· 如果我们终止服务及运营，或者保存期限已届满；
· If we terminate the service and operation, or if the retention period has expired;

· 如果您撤回同意；
· If you withdraw your consent;

· 如果我们处理个人信息的行为违反法律法规或违反与您的约定。
· If we process personal information in violation of laws and regulations or in violation of the agreement with you.

(三） 获取您的个人信息副本

您有权获取您的个人信息副本。在技术可行的前提下，例如存在匹配的数据接口时，我们还可按您的要求，直接将您的个人信息副本传输给您指定的第三方。
You have the right to obtain a copy of your personal information. Where technically feasible, such as where a matching data interface exists, we may also transfer a copy of your personal information directly to a third party designated by you at your request.

(四） 改变您同意处理的个人信息范围或撤回您的同意

对于您合理的请求，我们原则上不收取费用，但对多次重复、超出合理限度的请求，我们将视情况收取一定成本费用。对于那些无端重复、需要过多技术手段（例如，需要开发新系统或从根本上改变现行惯例）、给他人合法权益带来风险或者非常不切实际（例如，涉及备份磁带上存放的信息）的请求，我们可能会予以拒绝。
In principle, we will not charge a fee for your reasonable requests, but we will charge a cost fee for multiple repetitive requests that exceed reasonable limits, as appropriate. We may deny requests that are unnecessarily repetitive, require excessive technical means (for example, requiring the development of new systems or fundamental changes to current practices), pose a risk to the legal rights of others, or are highly impractical (for example, involving the backup of information stored on tapes).

以下情形中，按照法律法规要求，我们将无法响应您的请求：
As required by laws and regulations, we will not be able to respond to your request in the following circumstances:

· 与国家安全、国防安全直接相关的；
· Directly related to national security or national defense security;

· 与公共安全、公共卫生、重大公共利益直接相关的；
· Directly related to public safety, public health, or vital public interest;

· 与犯罪侦查、起诉、审判和判决执行等直接相关的；
· Directly related to crime investigation, prosecution, trial and judgment execution;

· 有证据表明您存在主观恶意或滥用权利的；
· Where there is evidence that you have subjective malice or abuse of rights;

· 响应您的请求将导致您或其他个人、组织的合法权益受到严重损害的；
· Where responding to your request will result in serious damage to the legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals or organizations;

· 涉及商业秘密的。

若涉及以上我们无法响应请求的情形，我们将按照法律法规的要求向您说明理由。

我们根据合法、正当、最小必要的原则，仅为实现本隐私政策目的，通过微信平台等渠道收集和使用您的以下个人信息：

个人基本资料：个人姓名，生日，性别，电话号码，地址，电子邮件地址，邮政编码；

原则上，我们在中华人民共和国境内收集和产生的个人信息，将存储在中华人民共和国境内。

出于集团统一管理的需求，我们需要向德国总部提供您的个人信息以完成和提供相应服务。德国的隐私权相关法律可能不同于中国的法律。我们将遵守中国的个人信息保护相关法律，尽力确保这些取得您个人信息的第三方将提供相似及/或可比程度的个人信息保障措施。
For the needs of Group Unified Management, we need to provide your personal information to our German headquarter in order to complete and provide the corresponding services. The privacy-related laws of Germany may differ from the laws of China. We will comply with China’s personal information protection laws and endeavor to ensure that these third parties who have obtained / will obtain your personal information will provide similar and/or comparable levels of personal information safeguards.

We undertake to process your sensitive personal information only for specific purposes and where it is sufficiently necessary. We will obtain your consent separately before processing your sensitive personal information.

在数字化技术研究过程中，我们将使用您的近视度数，散光度数，最近两年视力稳定情况等个人健康生理信息进行统计、分析，以优化相关技术，保障所提供产品和服务的质量。在为您办理退款时，我们将使用身份证、银行账户等个人财产信息，以完成退款支付。如您拒绝提供该等敏感个人信息，可能影响技术服务、退款流程的正常开展，但不会对您的权益造成其他不利影响。
In the process of digital technology research, we will use your personal health and physiological information such as degree of myopia, degree of astigmatism, vision stability in the last two years for statistics and analysis, to optimize the relevant technology and assure the quality of the products and services provided. When processing your refund, we will use personal property information such as ID card and bank account in order to complete the refund payment. If you refuse to provide such sensitive personal information, it may affect the normal conduct of technical services and refund process, but will not cause other adverse impacts on your rights and interests.

如果您的敏感个人信息发生泄漏或者非法使用，可能导致您的人格尊严受到侵害或者人身、财产安全受到危害。同时，请您知悉，我们采取了严格保护措施以防止您的敏感个人信息被泄露或者非法使用。若发生个人信息泄露等安全事件，我们会依法启动应急预案，并以邮件、信函或公告等方式向您告知相关情况、影响以及将采取的措施。
If your sensitive personal information is leaked or used illegally, your human dignity may be violated or your personal or property safety may be endangered. At the same time, please be aware that we have taken strict protection measures to prevent the leakage or illegal use of your sensitive personal information. （五） 您的个人信息的保存期限

通常，我们会在实现个人信息的处理目的（如本隐私政策所列）所必要的最短期限内保存您的个人信息，除非法律要求更长的保存期限。我们的保存期限不会超过【您与我们最后一次互动后的3个月】。个人信息保存到期后，我们将采取删除、匿名化处理或者法律法规认可的其他处理方式。
In general, we will retain your personal information for the minimum period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is processed (as set forth in this Privacy Policy), unless a longer retention period is required by law. Our retention period will not exceed three months after your last interaction with us. （二） 我们如何使用您的个人信息

（三） 我们如何跨境传输您的个人信息

我们在中华人民共和国境内收集和产生的访客个人信息，均将存储在中华人民共和国境内，不会被传输或存储至境外其他地区。

（四） 敏感个人信息的处理规则

我们承诺，只有在具有特定目的和充分必要性的情况下，才会处理您的敏感个人信息。在处理您的敏感个人信息前，我们将会单独征得您的同意。
We undertake to process your sensitive personal information only for specific purposes and where it is sufficiently necessary. We will obtain your consent separately before processing your sensitive personal information.

在您实地到访蔡司中国公司时，我们将使用您的身份证号、面部识别特征及疫情期间健康码和行程码等敏感个人信息来进行身份核验，从而保障进出人员安全。如您拒绝提供该等敏感个人信息，可能影响您的实地到访安排，但不会对您的权益造成其他不利影响。
When you visit Zeiss China on site, we will use your ID number, facial recognition features and sensitive personal information such as health code and itinerary code during the epidemic to verify your identity, thus safeguarding the safety of people entering and leaving the company. If you refuse to provide such sensitive personal information, it may affect your on-site visit arrangements, but will not cause other adverse impacts on your rights and interests.

如果您的敏感个人信息发生泄漏或者非法使用，可能导致您的人格尊严受到侵害或者人身、财产安全受到危害。同时，请您知悉，我们采取了严格保护措施以防止您的敏感个人信息被泄露或者非法使用。若发生个人信息泄露等安全事件，我们会依法启动应急预案，并以邮件、信函或公告等方式向您告知相关情况、影响以及将采取的措施。
If your sensitive personal information is leaked or used illegally, your human dignity may be violated or your personal or property safety may be endangered. （五） 您的个人信息的保存期限

通常，我们会在实现个人信息的处理目的（如本隐私政策所列）所必要的最短期限内保留您的个人信息，除非法律要求更长的保留期限。对于访客个人信息，我们的保存期限不会超过实地到访活动结束后的1周。个人信息保存到期后，我们将采取删除、匿名化处理或者法律法规认可的其他处理方式。

我们根据合法、正当、最小必要的原则，仅为实现本隐私政策目的，通过求职者应聘表等渠道，收集和使用您的以下个人信息：
